Richard Jennings has been playing music professionally since the age of fifteen. In 1965 he received his B.A. degree in music from Long Beach State, majoring in both saxophone and clarinet performance. Playing soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones; clarinet and bass clarinet; flute and piccolo; and oboe; his performance background has covered a wide range of musical genres, including big band, combo, jazz, rock n roll, classical, and show.
